Epson T0487 ink cartridges

T0487 is the six-cartridge set for Epson's mid-2000s Stylus Photo R and RX machines. These were the printers that put six-ink photo output into homes, and a good number are still working.

T0487 fits fourteen Epson printers: the Stylus Photo R200, R220, R300, R300M, R320, R330, R340 and R350, along with the RX300, RX320, RX500, RX600, RX620 and RX640.

T0481 to T0486 covers black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta. These were photo-oriented Stylus Photo machines and the two lighter inks give smoother gradation in photographs. All six must be fitted.

T0487 is the code for the complete six-cartridge set. Individual colours carry their own numbers from T0481 to T0486, so order by whichever is printed on the cartridge you are removing.

Yes, as new compatible cartridges. Genuine Epson stock for Stylus Photo printers of this age has largely gone, and where it turns up it is usually old stock that has been sitting for years.

Print something in colour regularly rather than leaving it idle for months, keep spare cartridges sealed and cool, and run the printer's own head-cleaning cycle if lines start dropping out of prints. Most faults on machines this age are dried ink rather than dead hardware.
